from housewares to vinyl records to clothing...We found a crystal
decanter for $15 and a funky gold belt for $4..."

"...the kind of place where you can find a lamp with a pintsize leather golf
bag as its base ($22) alongside a Carmen Marc Valvo dress that looks
plucked from the pages of Vogue for just $30..."

Specialty Rooms

Regrettably, the Montgomery County Thrift Shop no longer accepts consignments.  We had difficulty sustaining the effort involved in managing and staffing the consignment operation.  Also, we have been receiving an increasing number of very attractive donated items similar to--and often better than--those that we were receiving on consignment.

We now use our two lower-level rooms to sell high-quality donated items.  These are the same types of attractive and reasonably priced jewelry, china, crystal, silver, antiques, artwork, linen, small furniture, and home decor items that customers have been buying from us for many years.
