We love our customers! College communications student Morgan Koziar stopped by to shop while in town for a conference. When she and others got an "On the Spot" News Challenge to create a story about something they find interesting, Morgan came back to the shop and created a news-story video using only her phone. She won first prize in the Challenge! Morgan, thanks for choosing us for your story and congratulations on your prize! Here's the video link:
Thrift Shop Wants Help and
Recognition from the County
The Montgomery County Thrift shop is a charitable non-profit organization that sells affordable used and vintage clothing, jewelry, books, CDs, and household goods. Volunteers provide nearly all staffing, and profits go to five non-profit charities providing direct services to Montgomery County residents.
We have a thrift section--with clothing, books, home items, and electronics--and two specialty rooms with higher-end home decor items, antiques, small furniture, and jewelry. Everything we sell has been generously donated to us.
