Serving Montgomery County, MD Since 1943
Have you heard? We are going to be open EVERY SUNDAY between now and the end of June! Our Sunday hours are noon to 4:00, with all items in the main thrift room at half price.
We'll be closed on Monday, May 29th, for the Memorial Day holiday.
If you have spring or summer clothes that you didn't wear last year, do you think it might be time to find them a new home? Free up closet space and let us sell them!
We welcome your tax-deductible donations of clothes, books, and household goods. Please be sure they're ready-to-sell and ready-to-use, with no cleaning, mending, or repairs needed. See our "How to Donate" page for details.
The Montgomery County Thrift shop is a charitable non-profit organization that sells affordable used and vintage clothing, jewelry, books, CDs, and household goods. Volunteers provide nearly all staffing, and profits go to five non-profit charities providing direct services to Montgomery County residents.
We have a thrift section--with clothing, books, home items, and electronics--and two specialty rooms with higher-end home decor items, antiques, small furniture, and jewelry. Everything we sell has been generously donated to us.
